Colby Morris,
Executive Director
Is one of the original team members helping to drive the Payne Stewart Golf Camps vision and strategy. He is responsible for developing and implementing golf camp curriculum, locations partnerships, leader training, and on-going church and college campus programming, partnerships, and recruiting.
Colby has a passion for ministry and sport working at Upward Sports and then as a College and Young Professionals pastor at a large church in Spartanburg, SC. His resume includes:
Worked at Upward Sports piloting new sporting opportunities including golf. He later became a Regional Representative where he recruited church partners nationwide, helping train and add over 100 new programs.
He was a pastor at a large church focusing on College and Young Professionals.
Played golf recreationally and competitively and began to pursue a career with the PGA of America.
Has a B.S. in Business Administration and Management from Virginia College and an Associate Degree from Golf Academy of America – Myrtle Beach.
Spent the several months helping develop the Payne Stewart Golf Camp launch and implementation strategy.
